A reminder for all – there is a demo outside Sheffield Town Hall at 5pm today (Clegg turning up at 6) against Nick Clegg – let’s show him he doesn’t represent the people of Sheffield.

Welcome to PCS DWP Sheffield

This is the webpage for the DWP Sheffield branch of the Public and Commercial Services Union. The branch represents union members working in the civil service in Jobcentre Plus and the Pensions, Disability and Carers Service in Sheffield.

Our members work across the city area in Cavendish Court, Bailey Court, Hartshead Square (Contact Centre and WSD District), Hillsborough Jobcentre, Eastern Avenue Jobcentre, Woodhouse Jobcentre and Chapeltown Jobcentre.

The branch is also committed to fighting the Tory government cuts in the civil service and wider, and as such we support the PCS 'There Is An Alternative' campaign. In addition, our branch was seminal in forming the Sheffield Anti Cuts Alliance and wrote and proposed the motion that originally put it to the Sheffield Trades Council.
