Pickets, Supporters, and Junior Pickets in Hartshead Square on the picket line. From The Star (18/4/2011)

The branch wants to extend a big ‘thank you’ to all of our members (the vast majority) who stayed out of work yesterday during our day of action. We had a fantastic turnout locally and believe that to be the case countrywide – showing our strength of feeling about working conditions here.

We have had further messages of support from the Sheffield Trades Council, and many other organisations.
