Welfare Meeting – Wednesday 19th October 12/10/2011

Posted by pcsdwpsheffield in Uncategorized.

Our welfare state is facing massive cuts to benefits and services, and this is an attack on working class people, whether they are in work or unemployed. This meeting hopes to forge links, provide a space for organising, and share ideas and experiences.

The majority of the meeting will be open for contributions, and top table contributions will be a lead off rather than the focus.

It is important that the attendees at the meeting use it as a forum to discuss strategy and organisation, as well as common experiences.

Colin Hampton, Derbyshire Unemployed
Workers Centres
Shirley Frost, Defend Council Housing
