There will be picket lines outside all offices, please make every effort to attend for some time between 7am and 10am to take part in the strike. It is important that ordinary members, and not just reps, are on the picket line! We will have banners, placards and leaflets, but feel free to make your own!

We will be holding our BEC (branch executive committee) meeting on the strike day and it will be an open meeting where all members will be welcome to attend. The meeting will be held between 10am and 12pm in Room 1 in the Quaker Meeting House on St James St (to the side of the Cathedral). It is an accessible venue.

At 12pm there will be a rally outside Sheffield Town Hall for strikers and supporters with speakers from all the striking unions and other supportive campaigns.

At 5pm inside the Town Hall there will be a Pensions Campaign meeting for strikers and supporters to discuss the campaign ahead, hosted by the striking unions (PCS, UCU, Unite Health) and the NUT. We encourage as many members as possible to come along to discuss strategy and how to win.

To find out how much you will be losing with these changes, and why it is important to turn back the clock, please have a look at the updated PCS Pensions Calculator.

You can also lobby your MP about your pension by using THIS FORM.
