Contact Centre Campaign Ends – Ballot Result 20/11/2012

Members may have heard by this point that the results of the Contact Centre Ballot are out. As you will know (and can read in previous posts), the branch and Contact Centre Reps took a position to oppose the deal where the GEC recommended acceptance.

The CCS ballot result is 1506 FOR (76.6%) and 406 AGAINST ( 23.4%). Turnout 31.4%.

We are disappointed that this result has come out and what impact it will now have on the ability of Contact Centre members to fight attacks on their working conditions.

The Contact Centre reps will be meeting ASAP to discuss a way forward and will issue more thoughts after that.
