Update on Lee Rock Tribunal Case 02/12/2014

Below is taken from PCS Voice magazine, on this matter,

“Lee was dismissed by DWP from his job at Sheffield contact centre in 2013 on the grounds of attendance management. We have supported Lee throughout in his argument that management failed to take sufficiently into account the reasonable adjustments required through his health condition that is covered by the Equality Act. Last year we supported Lee in an employment tribunal that his dismissal was unfair. A judgement on the claim has been outstanding for some time, but has been held up because of the consideration of legal arguments arising out of another case. At the time of going to press, there was no indication of when the judgement might finally be delivered.”
